On September 5, 2019, the inaugural event to promote development of electronic information industry – “When Chengdu Meets Singapore”, was jointly organized by Chengdu Economic and Information Technology Bureau and ifeng.com at Singapore Four Season Hotel. Mr Niu Qingbao, Deputy Mayor of Chengdu, Ms. Wang Rongfang, Counsellor for Science and Technology, Embassy of the Peoples Republic of China in the Republic of Singapore, attended the event and delivered a speech.

Participants witnessed the signing of three important collaboration agreements, one of which was the agreement between Chengdu Economic and Information Technology Bureau and SCAAST.
